Year after year we have been reaping what we have sown, because we are aware that it is in our hands to contribute to the change we want. And how do we achieve it? By honoring day by day our purpose of “Nurturing a Better Tomorrow”, the inspiration with which we work with more than 3,000 employees and hundreds of committed allies, aware that creating a better future depends on the perfect balance between the present and the vision of a better world.

 

Legal compliance is the minimum expected in all our actions, and with determination and conviction we will always go beyond, generating a positive, lasting impact that makes a difference in: our people, communities and allies, the supply chain and the planet.

 

Under this conviction, at Alianza Team we take concrete actions that genuinely contribute and respond to the global agenda that concerns us all as individuals, declaring our commitments to the future in our 2030 Vision.

 

I am proud to say that we are on the right track, as ratified by our performance in the S&P Global annual Corporate Sustainability Assessment, the basis for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index. In the food industry, we are ranked 21st in the world, 5th in Latin America, 3rd in Colombia and Chile, 1st in Mexico and 6th in the United States, with a score that places us in the 95th percentile.

 

We continue to advance in our goals of becoming carbon neutral and aligning our environmental objectives with what science dictates; guaranteeing the comprehensive development of our employees and communities; and ensuring that our agricultural supply chains meet environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards. We also continue to work hand in hand with our partners along the supply chain to manage and mitigate climate change and develop circular economy models. 

 

I would like to acknowledge and thank our employees, partners and shareholders who make these achievements possible. Undoubtedly, these results are evidence of our commitment to sustainable development in order to respond to the challenges presented by the global environment.
