The development of environment and its inclusion as a material issue leads us to assume a more prominent role in our areas of influence, opening channels of communication, participation and joint construction in order to be allies of our communities. We are developing this capacity under the leadership of the Vice-Presidency of Talent by incorporating social work professionals into the local teams. This has allowed us to strengthen our understanding of the environment, strengthen our identification of the needs and expectations of the communities surrounding our operations, and bring forward initiatives to capture opportunities and continue building relationships of trust with our neighbors and allies in line with the Corporate Relationship Protocol that is part of our Policy Guidelines.
We launched four social development programs that seek to enhance capacities through education in children, adolescents, families and other members of the communities, support the Association of Food Banks of Colombia - ABACO in Colombia or other organizations in the countries promoting food security, and contribute to the quality of the results of the COPEN evaluation for the Alliance for Child Nutrition. We seek to empower young people in vulnerable conditions in our three zones of influence in Colombia to build healthy and productive life projects through work sessions focused on education and employability, thus promoting social development through entrepreneurial growth.
An investment of 448 million pesos was made for this initiative.
Forty-six jobs were created as a result of the program and 532 million pesos were generated in income for program participants in the form of salaries.
We made home visits to the young people involved, assessing their socioeconomic conditions and providing individualized psychosocial support.
We carried out training sessions for families in vulnerable situations in the sectors surrounding our area of influence, teaching and strengthening their work skills so that they can carry out activities that generate additional income for their homes.

We developed the eighth version of Sabor Bajero in Barranquilla, working alongside 50 families and with the participation of 38 midwives,, consolidating it as the most important gastronomic festival in the city.
We seek to actively contribute to the construction of life projects that promote the growth and integral development of children and adolescents in vulnerable situations in the sectors near our operations through comprehensive approaches.

In Mexico, we supported 18 children in vulnerable situations, 330 patrons at Comedor Santa María and 27 women at Asilo Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe with margarine for their preparations, and contributed with donations of 14 reflectors equipped with solar panels to illuminate internal roads in SOS Children's Villages, providing safety and comfort.
We developed a workshop for teachers and directors of the Barrio Abajo Children's Home in Barranquilla, providing tools for working with children and adolescents in vulnerable situations with special educational conditions.
In collaboration with Sodexo, we carried out a playful and educational day for children in which we taught them how to prepare fruit skewers, promoting good eating habits.
We carried out environmental education programs in order to raise awareness about waste management and utilization at the domestic and business levels. We focused our efforts in mitigating the environmental impact in the rural community of Mirachuelo, a territory close to the Doña Juana Landfill in Bogotá.
We worked with 218 employees and students, and planted a total of 426 native trees.

In partnership with Wazu, we carried out diagnosis and follow-up of employees and their families. This program provides health services and medical follow-up, contributing to the well-being of our employees and promoting greater health and productivity in the workplace.
We created a network with social leaders and activists to facilitate collaboration between them, social activists and us in order to identify and address local needs, promoting positive change and improving the quality of life in the communities.
We partnered with Teleton as and its corporate volunteers, supporting programs and services for people with disabilities, strengthening the community ties and raising awareness on these issues.
With our program "Dagusto Viajero", working alongside our technical experts, we shared the latest trends in pastry, bakery and window dressing with more than 520 chefs, bakers and pastry experts in the cities of Bogota, Cali, Medellin, Pereira, Bucaramanga, Barranquilla and Cucuta.
Through the Pasteleritos initiative, we carried out activities with 70 children from our partners' families in Medellín and Cúcuta to invite them to dream as bakers.
We believe in contributing to vulnerable communities through donations of our products, with the firm purpose of complementing and enhancing the nutrition and food of these populations.
We contributed a total of COP $1,472,485,706 between cash and in-kind donations, delivering more than 58 thousand units of products to our partners, reaching 14 regions between Colombia, Mexico and Chile.
Through our alliance with the Asociación de Bancos de Alimentos de Colombia - ABACO, we reached more than one million people in vulnerable situations in 15 different cities in Colombia with 82.6 tons of products valued at COP $863 million.
In response to the flooding caused by heavy rains in central Chile, BredenMaster joined with various social organizations to provide assistance to those affected by donating 33,940 units of different products such as breads, muffins and donuts, which were delivered to the affected families. We eliminated TBHQ from all mass consumption oils in Team Foods and Team Caribe and from 73% of our Food Service oils portfolio.

In 2023, we continue with our Cuida tu vida channel and blog, which offers nutritional products online and content on healthy habits with the aim of contributing to people's wellbeing.
We partnered with the Universidad de Los Andes and the Centro Nacional de Consultoría, as they conducted the COPEN study (Colombian Study of Nutritional Profiles) which provides us with valuable information to explore ideas for innovation, provide clear and verifiable information to society and improve our product formulations.
In alliance with ABACO, we made the information gathered in the 2018 study available to the community to complement the Child Nutrition Observatory and contribute to more informed decision-making for all.
In relation to the definition of neutral products, we have established specific criteria that follow the recommendations of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) which include: the absence of artificial antioxidants, a minimum level of trans fat content, the absence of harmful contaminants, a reduced sodium content and a low sugar content.
